A false ceiling is the second ceiling after the main ceiling, which is generally made of gypsum board, PVC panels, tiles, etc.There is a gap between the main ceiling and the false ceiling. The false ceiling is a great idea to improve soundproofing systems in big halls and auditoriums. The gap between the main and false ceiling depends on the floor height. The false ceiling not only improves the appearance of your room but also is very helpful for hiding unwanted wires and pipes. In many shops, they keep as much gap as they can, between the main ceiling and the false ceiling. They use these vacant places as storage.

It is available in different shapes and designs such as plain stepped, dropped, etc.

3. Wooden False Ceiling:

A false ceiling is a sure-shot way to increase the aesthetic appeal of your place. Wood is one of the materials which are widely used for false ceilings. It can be used in combination with other materials like gypsum, pop, metal, glass, etc. Wooden false ceilings are available in many patterns and textures. You can get them painted by your choice.

If you compare wood with other false ceiling materials, we can see that wood is comparatively expensive. More importantly, a wooden false ceiling is suitable for cold weather as a result wooden false ceiling is not ideal for a Bangladeshi home or office interior. Fabric ceilings can be used for temporary purposes in churches, Yoga rooms, restaurants, or functional halls. Fabric false ceiling is very economical. It is easy to install, People who have limited experience can also install this type of false ceiling. You can’t use it as a permanent solution to your home décor, because it is will get dirtier with every passing day.
